Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the logistical operations of Waywayseecappo Child; Family Services Inc. This role ensures the efficient and timely movement of resources, supplies, equipment, and services to support the agency’s programs and services for children and families. The Logistics Supervisor will coordinate transportation, inventory management, procurement, and distribution efforts, while adhering to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and agency policies.

Duties:

  • Oversee the daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth delivery of resources to various programs and service locations.

  • Manage the transportation and scheduling of staff, children, and families for appointments, events, and other required activities.

  • Coordinate the movement and delivery of essential supplies, equipment, and resources to support the agency’s services.

  • Ensure that all logistics activities comply with safety standards, policies, and regulations.

  • Supervise and provide guidance to logistics staff, including drivers, warehouse personnel, and administrative support staff.

  • Assist in preparing and managing the logistics budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions for transportation, inventory, and other logistical needs.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, transportation schedules, and logistical activities.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Equivalent work experience in logistics or a similar field will also be considered.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or operations management, preferably in a social services or non-profit environment.

  • Experience in managing transportation, inventory, and coordinating staff and resources.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
